Heavy duty but needs adjustments

This is a great heavy duty stand and easy to put together at a great price. However, the hinging mechanism that mounts to the back of the TV needs some work. Ours was so loose that a 5lb screen caused the hinge to bend down, left the screen facing the floor, and would immediately fall back down after adjustment. However, the stand was sturdy and never tipped when this happened, even when we mounted our 32" heavy screen.Very well balanced!! To solve the hinge issue, I removed the decorative caps and tightened the hinging bolt as much as possible. This helped a little, but after a few minutes, it would begin to fall again. The issue was solved by adding 4 washers to the hinge; one between the bolt and the metal u-bracket, the second between the u-bracket and the plastic joint, then the same for the other side. After the washers were added and the bolt was tightened, the mount worked flawlessly and supported the screen like a champ!
