Mounting these standoffs is pretty straightforward. Drill 1/2" holes through your sign substrate. Insert the caps through these holes and hand-tighten them into the standoff "barrels". Before you know it, you're done! You can use panels up to 1" thick. These sign standoffs are competitively priced for their size. Mountain Hardware was insufficient.

I still had to go to Home Depot and purchase the correct toggle bolt in order to mount the standoffs. The hardware provided was low quality and not sufficient enough to keep the standoff attached to the wall.

Standoffs - Finish Washers ?

Most of the standoffs I have purchased in the past from others come with 2 nylon/ plastic washers. These go between the cap screw and the barrel. I should have paid more attention to your picture. The washers give the standoffs a more finished look when installed. They also work like a lock washer, Keeping the cap screw from loosening. You could have the washers available for your customers, selling them separately. Thank you for asking for my opinion.
